Riesling vom roten Schiefer
The grapes for vom roten Schiefer (“from red slate”) ferment naturally in Fuder, normally until off-dry, though the end result is vintage-dependent. Fruit is sourced from Pündericher Nonnengarten, with its richer red-slate soils, and the Rothenpfad section of Marienburg, all steep, stony red slate. Spicy, herbal, and always with luscious, lovely texture.
