Ayler Kupp Riesling “Unterstenbersch” Fass 9 trocken

The name is patois for “at the foot of the hill,” and is an old, pre-1971 German Wine Law section of the original Ayler Kupp. Intensely mineral and long, the wine, analytically off-dry, has 50-year-old vines and finely weathered gray slate at its source, and will continue to evolve for fifteen years or more.
