Ayler Kupp Riesling Fass 12 “Unterstenbersch”

“Unterstenbersch” is patois for “unter den Berg” (at the foot of the hill) and is an old, pre-1971 German Wine Law section of the original Ayler Kupp. Intensely mineral and long, the wine, analytically off-dry, has 50-year-old vines and finely weathered gray slate at its source. Aged in Fuder.
