From a steep plot at the top of one of the Middle Mosel’s greatest sites, here is feinherb at the relative high end (20 g/l residual sugar) of that undefined scale. Stefan lets fermentation take its natural course, and as a result, this wine hangs together beautifully, with typical Steinmetz verve and increasingly typical precision.
