Wintricher Geierslay Riesling Spätlese feinherb
Filigree off-dry Riesling from a large contiguous plot of old gnarly vines in a south-facing (and formerly highly prized) vineyard, tucked in a cool side valley and adjacent to Wintricher Ohligsberg. The soil consists of stony, partly purple-colored slate, along with large chunks of quartzite. The result here is reminiscent of the finest Saar Riesling.
